Worlds. Have. Collided. The Half Cab, one of Vans’ most recognizable heritage skateboarding shoes, snaps on MTE’s pinnacle technical package to create the beast-est mid-cut of all time. Thirty years in the making, the MTE Half Cab GORE-TEX combines iconic skate style and swagger with GORE-TEX breathable waterproofing, GORE-TEX’s Duratherm insulation, and the All-Trac all-weather rubber compound designed for maximum traction. The MTE Half Cab GORE-TEX is made with leather, textile, and synthetic uppers.
- MOISTURE MANAGEMENT - Engineered with a breathable waterproof internal bootie that allows moisture to escape while keeping snow and rain out, the GORE-TEX® guarantees to keep you dry.
- THERMOREGULATION - The 200G innovative Duratherm insulation package from GORE-TEX® allows breathability, waterproofness and reinforced insulation to respond to winter conditions.
- TRACTION - The All-Trac cold weather rubber compound provides flexible underfoot lugs to bend with terrain changes, creating more surface area and better variable adaptability.
- COMFORT AND SUPPORT - A single-density UltraCush™ molded EVA footbed is designed to deliver enhanced comfort for all-day wear.
- GORE-TEX® - GORE-TEX® products with EPE membrane technology are non-PFC laminate throughout, using recycled materials in the laminate’s textile component and reducing the amount of plastic waste.
